We have the Coding for Beginners Using Scratch book and it’s such a nice, high-quality book. There is an encased spiral binding that makes it easy to turn the pages and leave the book open so they can reference the tasks and steps to try coding their own games and tasks. There are a bunch of different skills they can learn while using this book to create their own simple tasks and games using the Scratch coding platform. There’s also a second book in the series for using Python for coding. I felt like the book was well laid out and easy to follow along with.
