About Illustrated Stories for Children
Illustrated Stories for Children Customer Review:
“Not only is this book gorgeous, but it has SO many amazing stories. With over 500 pages, you really get a bang for your buck.
This appears to be a compilation of some of the stories from “Illustrated Stories for Girls” and “Illustrated Stories for Boys”. So it’s like getting 2 collections for the price of one. It will please any group of kids!”
Consultant Review of Usborne Illustrated Stories:
My boys aged 7 and 9 devour the Illustrated Stories collections. We own most of the titles, now, because they can’t put them down. It’s always encouraging to find a book that your children love so much they will read it over and over.
The pictures are beautiful and the ribbon bookmark is a really nice touch. Each of the Usborne Illustrated Stories books vary in style slightly from those with lots of pictures and bigger text to just a few pictures and smaller text.
Some have just a couple of longer stories, while others have a bunch of smaller stories.
This particular title is no longer being published, but check out all the illustrated stories books to pick the perfect one for your family.
Other Usborne titles in the Series include:
- Delightful Illustrated Stories
- Illustrated Stories from Dickens
- Illustrated Stories from Aesop
- Incredible Illustrated Stories
- Illustrated Stories from Around the World
- …and many more!
A gem of a book! This book is a combination of what used to be Illustrated Stories for Girls (now Delightful Illustrated Stories) and Illustrated Stories for Boys (now Incredible Illustrated Stories) volumes by Usborne.
If you have either of these titles (or both) you’ll find overlap in this book. This is a really big, the largest of all the Illustrated Stories books at over 500 pages, and a fantastic value!
With 22 included stories, it’s just $1 a story and they’re all compiled into a gorgeous soft padded cover with ribbon bookmark!
